Dear Abolition 2000 friends,

I Think that the next poem doesn't need much introduction. After reading everybody will understand it's about love and nature. Two great sources of inspiration to fight for a better life for all mankind.

Ak Malten,

Global Anti-Nuclear Alliance

Pairs, on the beach.

The sunset draw my attention.
As fast as I could I hurried
through the dunes towards it.
There it was, the beach.

The greyish brown of the sand
shouldered to the blueish grey
of the waves.

The red sun was sinking fast,
surrounding the sea with
two bands of red; one real,
one reflection.

A pair of seagulls, whispering
love calls in the distance,
flying towards there freedom.

I started to write this poem
in the sand, offering it
together with two names to
the coming flood.

What a beauty, all those
pairs, on the beach.
On the way home I picked
a pair of red roses.
